Combine a trip on the British Pullman luxury train with a flutter on the horses at one of the most glamorous events in the sporting calendar. Glorious Goodwood is a thrilling highlight of the flat-racing season, taking place in the beautiful Sussex Downs.
Start your day on a winning streak with a delicious brunch. Served at your table by a liveried steward, it sets the scene for the gastronomic journey to come. The table is elegantly set with starched linen and bespoke china. Surrounding you are sumptuous art deco features and intricate marquetry. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the changing views through your picture window as you head south into leafy Sussex. During the outward journey, you will be handed your badge, which gives you access to all ground-level public areas and bars at the racecourse. On arrival, you are met by coaches and escorted to Goodwood Racecourse. Head to your enclosure and enjoy the action. After the day’s sporting fun return to the train for an effervescent champagne reception. This is followed by a three-course dinner and their sommelier’s tempting array of wines. Guests in the Gordon Enclosure enjoy access to the Parade Ring, where you can observe the horse’s close-up before the race and decide who to back. Both standing viewing from the March Grandstand and covered seating within the Sussex Stand is available.
