Chef Calum is a pastry connoisseur who delights in seeing his customers' faces light up when a pie comes at their table. The pies are made with incredible attention to detail and precision, and guests at The Pie Room will be able to witness every stage firsthand.


Private dining

By day, it's a pie kitchen, and by night, it's an upscale dining room. Every evening, the Pie Room is available for private hire for up to 10 persons. Executive Head Chef Calum Franklin has created particularly crafted dishes for you to enjoy in this wonderful location. Guests can enjoy a 3-course set menu created by Executive Head Chef Calum Franklin.

At Holborn Dining Room, there's now a designated location where hundreds of pies may be made each day — a pie playground, if you will. Diners will benefit from being able to peek right into the pie room to observe the cooks at work.

Choose from curried mutton pie, steaming steak and kidney pudding with beef cheek, chuck steak, and onions, hand-raised pig pie with fennel seeds and sage, and chicken, girolle, and tarragon pie with peas.

You didn't realise you were expecting a pie room until it arrived, did you? Calum has a fascination for lost British delicacies and old-school pastry classics, and it's wonderful to see him realise his aim of bringing them back into favour. 'I am obsessed with pastry, and seeing The Pie Room finally come to fruition is incredibly wonderful for me and the crew,' he said of the opening. People may be unaware of the intricate elements and processes that go into producing our pies, but visitors to The Pie Room will be able to witness each step firsthand.'
