KENDAL MOUNTAIN FESTIVAL - THE UK'S BIGGEST ADVENTURE FESTIVAL
Every November, they bring together tens of thousands of outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world to share and celebrate the best tales of nature, adventure, and mountain culture.
This hybrid Festival's (live and digital) programme features breathtaking films, an impressive speaker roster, and heartwarming community meetings.
The amazing film schedule that is the centrepiece of the Festival is chosen from the submissions made to their yearly international film competition. In addition to short films assembled into themed collections, they also present feature-length films as standalone events. To complement the hard-hitting but immensely essential films that deal with climate, economic, and humanitarian challenges in 2023, they are eager to encourage and welcome the submission of short, uplifting adventure films.
