Eagle Heights Wildlife FoundatioN, EYNSFORD, KENT
Home to one of the UK's largest Bird of Prey Centres, WITH a collection of approximately 100 raptors, a wildlife sanctuary and a variety of animals including, Meerkats, African Servals, Farm Animals, Reptiles AND Huskies!
Eagle Heights is actively working on wildlife conservation here in the UK and are also assisting with conservation in West Africa.
Eagle Heights started in 1996 as a philanthropic family and friends’ organisation. It gained foundation status in 2014. Eagle Heights was founded by Alan & Sally Ames but now day to day running is undertaken by their son Jonathan, daughter Samantha and their capable team.
Experiences are a huge part of their work. They feel that, time spent with the animals and learning from their keepers, will inspire their visitors to be more aware about the conservation of our planet and its inhabitants. They currently offer Bird of Prey, Meerkat and Husky Experiences as well as VIP Activity and Photography Days.
The Husky Hike is a longstanding favourite with visitors to Eagle Heights
With access to miles of footpaths and private trails they are in the perfect position for a hike with the Huskies! On The Husky Hike you will be greeted by friendly staff and then taken to meet the Huskies that will be joining you. Once the Huskies are ready you will head off on 'The Hike' for approx. 2 miles across The North Downs.
You will have the opportunity to view and photograph the amazing wildlife that lives in this fantastic part of England! The friendly keepers will be happy to answer all of your questions and share their knowledge of not only our animals, but wildlife in general. Cost: £25 per person
