THE MOST UNIQUE CAVE ROOMS

Kelebek Hotel

Kelebek means "butterfly" in Turkish, and it gets its name from the two fairy chimneys that emerge from the rocks like butterfly wings. The hotel's rock formations, which are set amid the mythological regions of Cappadocia, trace back to a prehistoric volcanic explosion. People have lived in these tunnels and caves for thousands of years.

Kelebek Hotel first opened its doors in 1993. Ali Yavuz, the owner, lived there. It began as a guest home with four rooms available. Mr Ali Yavuz extended the guest's home over time by connecting it with other properties in the area. Kelebek now has 37 rooms after he completed the refurbishment himself. The hotel's rooms are one-of-a-kind since they were cut out of the caves.

During your stay at Hotel Kelebek, you will get the opportunity to see the interesting inside of their traditional cave houses. You may also choose a bedroom that formerly belonged to a mediaeval monk, and some of the apartments include old mosaics. The hotel is equipped with all of the contemporary amenities you'll need to spend your days visiting this interesting region of the country.

Hot Air Balloons

Kelebek offers a pool, a Turkish bath and sauna, and an à la carte restaurant. The town centre is roughly a 5-minute walk away. The Goreme Open Air Museum and most of the valleys are within walking distance. Kelebek has a concierge service where hotel guests may schedule any activities, including balloon rides, at the front desk.

Their goal is to provide an amazing experience for their visitors by making them feel at home while providing all of the conveniences that a five-star hotel can offer. They consistently emphasise the local culture and customs while providing a pleasant stay in a very unique place. Hotel guests can participate in activities such as grape picking and cookery workshops.
