HAVE AN ICE STAY

Feel the enchantment, take a look at the intricate artwork and you'll find yourself in a frozen universe of possibilities. During the early winter, a fresh new Igloo Hotel is constructed in Sorrisniva. Every year from December 20th to April 7th, the Igloo Hotel is open for business.

Igloo Hotel

Visitors who want to enjoy the ambience of the Igloo Hotel, witness the ice sculptures, and learn about the construction process can join a guided tour. At the ice bar, you may also order a blue ice cocktail. Each year, a combination of igloo rooms and customised suites are planned and constructed for the Igloo Hotel. Each suite is a one-of-a-kind creation by one of their ice sculptors, with a distinct art theme that is planned and adorned.

Sleeping at the Igloo Hotel

Sleeping in the Igloo Hotel is an unforgettable experience that you will remember for the rest of your life. When viewing and exploring the spectacular ice sculptures or enjoying a drink at the ice bar, the temperature inside the igloo hotel is between -4 and -7 degrees, necessitating thick clothes. Your ice bed is lined with a mattress and reindeer skins, and your sleeping bag and pillow will keep you warm and comfy all night for optimum comfort, select wool or fleece underwear. Enjoy a traditional sauna in the morning before going for a sumptuous breakfast at the Laavu restaurant.
