The Parfumerie Galimard, founded in 1747, is one of the first French Houses of Perfumes. Jean de Galimard, Lord of Seranon and member of the « Glovemakers and Perfumers» guild, supplied the court of Louis XV « the well-beloved » with olive oil, pomades, and perfumes of which he invented the first formulas.
Thanks to the precious scents indigenous to the French Riviera, Grasse was awarded the title of World Capital of Perfume. At the end of the 18th century, Grasse laid the foundation for a powerful industry with the extraordinary development that we see today.
If you want to create your own perfume, the Private label department at Galimard provides its vast experience and savoir faire at all stages of your project. They can help you promote your brand through custom fragrances. The in-house Perfumers and creative team take a step by step approach using their wealth of knowledge, expertise, to create the scent you are searching for, with the quality label “made in France”!
They start by defining the scent’s spirit and its creative interpretation, submiting formula proposals designed and created in collaboration with their in-house dedicated team and Perfumers.
Once the formula is approved, they will manufacture the perfume: production, maceration, glazing and filtering.
Your creation will be available for you in the concentration of your choice (Eau de Toilette, Eau de Parfum or, Parfum), in bulk or in ready-made packages personalized with your brand.
The creative packaging design staff will be ready to help you develop the look and awareness which best suit and promote your product. All packaging will be done in Grasse.
They are free guided tours 7 days a week, experience a visit in Eze-Village, a hilltop village town ideally located between Nice and Monte Carlo. This beautiful medieval village hosts the charming establishment. With the experienced guidance of the perfume specialists, you will be given a lively, entertaining and professional tour which combine the nostalgia for the past, represented by ancient bottles and perfume L’ambics which blend seamlessly with their contemporary and refined Fragrances. You will also discover the Antique Machinery Museum and the extraordinary collector's pieces, as well as the techniques and secrets of the Fragrance creative process.
There are also Perfume creation workshops in which Galimard’ s Studio des Fragrances was essentially developed to reveal the secret of perfume making which has until recently always been closed to the public.
