MARRAKESH EXPRESS

On this incredible 7-night rail trip to Morocco, board the train and go to a new world. Before crossing the Straits of Gibraltar to reach Africa and the city of Tangier, pass through Barcelona and the historic city of Cordoba. Travel west via Casablanca to the lovely walled city of Marrakesh and take in everything that it has to offer, including the vibrant souks, confusing labyrinth of alleyways, and breathtaking medina. For all tourists, the city is a riot of vivid colour and mouthwatering aromas!

DAY 1 - Madrid

Make your way to your hotel for a one-night stay after you've arrived in the Spanish capital. Take a look inside the Prado Museum or wander around the lovely Gran Via and Plaza Mayor. (Madrid, overnight)

DAY 2 - Cordoba

Take the train to Cordoba in the morning, then check-in for the night. Explore the historical history that can be found throughout this beautiful city. (Cordoba overnight)

DAY 3 - Tangier

Take the rail to Algeciras, where you may connect to a bus to take you to Tarifa, where a swift boat sails for Africa. When you arrive in Tangier, a driver will be there to welcome you, provide you with your train tickets, and lead you to your accommodation. (Tangier for the night)

DAY 4 - Marrakech

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and driven in first class to the railway station where your westbound train will depart. Before arriving in Marrakesh, where you will once more be met by a chauffeur and taken to your hotel for a 4-night stay, you must change trains in Casablanca. (Marrakech overnight)

DAY 5 - Marrakech

Set off this morning on a lovely half-day excursion to explore the city. Visit the magnificent Saadien Tombs and the striking Almohad Koutoubia Minaret. Reach the Djemâa el Fna Square, a stunning assault on the senses, after navigating the maze of little lanes that make up the Souks. (Marrakech overnight)

DAY 6 - Marrakech

Relax this morning before being picked up from your hotel or riad in the afternoon and being driven outside of the city to enjoy riding a camel through some lovely palm gardens. Then go back to the city to spend your evening, maybe by paying a second visit to Djemâa el Fna Square, which comes to life at night with a variety of cuisine, music, colour, and enchantment. DAY 7 - Marrakech

Take today to explore this magnificent city at your leisure. Visit the intriguing Maison de la Photographie to view a beautiful collection of Marrakesh's past, which is located in a lovely riad, or unwind while sipping tea in a rooftop café or bar. Explore the perfumed Jardin Majorelle or stop at the Yves Saint Laurent Museum (overnight Marrakech)


DAY 8 - End Of Tour

As you are taken from your hotel to the airport for your journey home, say goodbye to Marrakesh. If you would rather continue your travels elsewhere, talk to any member of our staff.
