FIND YOUR CREATIVE STREAK

Create time and space in your life and be more creative. Research shows that creating art decreases negative emotions, reduces stress and anxiety, and improved medical outcomes and help you live longer! It also helps you become a better problem solver in all areas of your life and work. Being creative also comes with many ups and downs and a high risk of failure. You have to be vulnerable to share your art, and willing to take the risk that what you create may never see the light of the day. Here's 5 great courses to get those juices flowing.

Pottery courses

Crown works | Bethnal Green

Crown Works Pottery is run by potter Giulietta Hextall and is headquartered in East London, nestled away in an ancient Victorian mews near Bethnal Green.

Giulietta operates the studio as a school as well as a studio for professionals. Short taster sessions, beginner and intermediate workshops, and more specialised one-off master seminars are among the possibilities available. All classes are taught by full-time expert potters who are eager to share their expertise in this unique medium. The sessions are confined to a maximum of ten individuals per session, which keeps the classes intimate and allows all students to receive adequate assistance in a friendly environment.

The Pottery includes a small number of full-time artisans who all create bespoke ceramics and are working to improve their skills.

Portraiture Course

London fine art studios

Several artists and students enjoy drawing and painting portraits; it's a subject that has always piqued interest. For the most part, the appeal is much more than a resemblance; it is the emotion and character that they want to capture that fascinates them the most.

Nonetheless, the enigma, like all other types of artistic discipline, conceals a clear sequential structure to be followed. The similarity is produced by drawing out the major forms and simple proportions rather than racing to the end product and the little details.

Course Structure

From Monday through Saturday, as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings, they provide portrait courses in the studios. Applicants must have completed the Foundation Course as well as at least one term of Figure Drawing/Painting. In the months of December and July, they also host two 5-day courses devoted to portraiture.

Photography courses

London Institute of Photography

They also offer 12 Individual Courses in addition to the Professional Photography Course. Taster Workshops in four important areas of photography are also available.
