Book a flamenco session for you and your friends to spend a pleasant morning or afternoon learning a simple choreography from seasoned pros.

Ideally, you should also see a flamenco show following the session.

The beginning lesson is intended for individuals or groups that want to try flamenco for the first time. So it may be a fun pastime if you are travelling with a group of friends, family, or if you want to give a unique present. And this sport is great for both men and women!

On this one-of-a-kind flamenco adventure, you will learn by dancing flamenco and immersing yourself in flamenco culture. You will learn more than just rhythm, palms, and dance; you will gain a greater understanding of this amazing art and why it is so popular throughout the world.

You will start with workout and rhythm skills.

Then you'll practice basic flamenco body postures for arms, hands, and foot motions, as well as how to dance a flamenco routine.

Finally, with some bodywork, you will be able to replicate a one-of-a-kind routine.

Your guide will teach you everything from the ground up, so just go with the flow!

This introductory course is meant for anybody who is new to flamenco and wants to take their first steps towards discovering this magnificent art form, providing a fundamental overview of what flamenco dance is and how to learn it.

You will master the key flamenco rhythms, physique, and footwork:

Upper body technique: While mastering main body poses, you will improve your core and arm muscles. Your teacher will ensure that you focus on good posture and placement in order to execute body motions correctly and successfully. Flamenco learning will be aided by repeated, slow motions.

Footwork: It is critical that you master the various footwork styles. While practising a series of exercises, you will concentrate on the specific muscles that need to be engaged.

Rhythm and palmas: You will learn palmas (rhythmic handclapping), which is a necessary ability for each flamenco dancer.

Choreography: At the end of the lesson, you will practice all of your new abilities by combining steps in succession to produce brief combinations. Your teacher will then incorporate them into a brief dance. You will gradually learn to combine steps in succession.

What to Wear to a Flamenco Class

When attending an in-person class, try to wear a shirt that allows your arms to move freely.

Wear trousers that aren't too long in the leg since a tap or stomp on the floor needs to sound clean, which you won't be able to do if you're walking on your hem.

Sandals are not the finest choice in terms of footwear. When you're stamping, you'll need to protect your feet and legs.

However, keep in mind that you won't be able to generate that delightful tap sounds if you're wearing trainers. So try to wear shoes with solid soles (rather than rubber) that make a sound when you walk on them.
