PADDLEBOARD (SUP) YOGA
Ready to take your yoga practice to the next level? SUP Yoga is a great way to increase your balance and focus while still having fun in the process. Suitable for all levels, our SUP Yoga sessions are a mixture of Hatha and Flow Yoga, with a bit of play around time at the end to explore your own edges.
SUP Yoga classes are traditional yoga classes taught on the water on floating boards . The boards are wide and sturdy – and larger than your yoga mat! Join them at our open air studio where they work with all the elements, sun, wind, water and occasionally even the rain. You’ll enhance your practice and the overall yoga experience by learning to adapt to the motion of the board, the continuous challenge to balance and the unpredictable instability sometimes created by external energy (wake) or the shifting of body weight. Your single point of focus becomes more clear on the board and you will maximise your core stability throughout the class. A true yoga flow, the classes will challenge and energise before ending with a relaxing moving meditation utilising the gentle rocking of the water.
Classes run regularly starting from April to October from the home base in Camden. They also offer SUP Yoga Tours which include a paddle through Regent’s Park with a yoga class in the serene surroundings of Lisson Grove.
NEW THIS YEAR! SUP PILATES
Here’s another opportunity to get your core fired up with SUP Pilates. The benefits of traditional Pilates with the added extra oomph of instability on board. Pilates is much loved for creating core stability and strength, and long, lean muscles through challenging but gentle sequences. You’ll add a whole new level of challenge by performing the same sequence on paddleboard under the guidance of our lovely instructor Laura.
Classes run regularly starting from April to October from our home base in Camden. You can combine a SUP Pilates class with a paddle for a longer session and total body toning.
