With other hotels in New York and LA and now the Maldives, The Standard group knows they are the coolest kids on the block, adding to that of course with there newest opening in good old London town

The Standard hotel group founded in 1999 by famous hotelier André Balazs (his other properties include Chiltern Firehouse, Chateau Marmont and The Mercer) which are known as the places to party for those in the know.

The opening of The Standard brings with it, new restaurants and bars to the area – something Londoners, always hungry for the next new thing, will delight in.

Michelin-starred Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias merges the Spanish cuisine of his family with his love of Mexico for his debut London restaurant Decimo, at the Standard Hotel, which will be the new playground of London’s cool creatives, serving a refined selection of Spanish and Mexican small plates and hard booze. Expect lots of flavour – aguachile (Mexican ceviche), suckling pig shoulder, mushroom bomba rice and a new take on tacos with a dramatically different tortilla.
